Is djinn really love their(?) children? And by the story djinn told, we can say what djinn want is freedom without being bound on the lamp.

But... Their children died.. and this is nothing but an illusion that djinn create... So all years of them together, did djinn really appreciate it?

I don't see how the author could answer that question in any way other than "It was acting all along", otherwise it wouldn't have been so casual about their meeting in the latest chapter

I really hope the author actually explains what's happening in the Djinn's head at some point. I've read a lot of stories where that kinda dissonance is ignored because the end goal was just to tell a sad story, the characters' motivations being a vague afterthought

I really hope the author actually explains what's happening in the Djinn's head at some point.

Feel like this extra kinda hinted that the Djinn just went insane with time. I guess the first sentence of the story may be the central theme here — to never trust a Djinn.

But yeah, there is a lot of dissonance on the fact that Azur just did all that and acted as if it was just a dream…I thought it was established that wishes couldn’t be concluded unless the feeling were genuine but I guess that can still be based on a lie.

This extra was cute and hilarious but also tragic.
Azur seemed to have genuinely loved the kids and maybe even Reth. If only they could have talked it out, agree to stay with the family after being freed. What is more, maybe she wasn't planning to leave without them. Both were so brash
