I would've enjoyed Aika tidying up Wataru's hair, but that's not exactly a convincing sign of progress knowing her actions and words never really lined up properly.
New girl who's unrelated to anybody else so far has appeared (according to this chapter the kanji for Sasaki is different from that of his classmate Sasaki). The harem vibes are really strong in this despite not technically having the tag, so many girls around the male lead, and a significant number of them do blush with his antics. Since this new girl appears to be on one of the covers, I expect she's gonna play a significant role too.
