Well, I got bamboozled too... Fuuka dresses really well for a middle schooler that I thought she was just a shortstack college girl.
Re-reading, yeah those chapters didn't actually have her say anything about being in college, it was all a misunderstanding on Wataru's part. She's a middle school girl who's actually younger than them. She'd be 15 at most, maybe 14. No onee-san here.
But I like how this is all happening in front of Aika. She should know she has plenty of competition and she has no time to be sitting on her hands if she really does want to act on her feelings for Wataru. She needs to get her act together away from that painfully dishonest tsundere old self of hers.
