It's nice to see the duke showing some emotions. Having a character come in just to do some oral exposition of his past was horrendously clunky and emotionless, but I wis they'd kept that info for a bit later. Teased it more instead of just giving us an "fyi" chapter...
Anyway, it still feels good to see him getting riled up. Usually the trope of the partner developing a rabid jealousy makes everyone come across as 14, but here it's sort of endearing for a character like him.
