"Why does he look at me like he loves me?"
"Why does he hold me like he loves me?"
"Why does he kiss me like he loves me?"
"It must be because we are business partners"
Oh, come on! How long is the author going to stretch that line of though? If he actually tells her that he loves her, will she think that he is only doing because of the marriage contract.
I'm worried because this looks like it will lead to a story line where she considers leaving him because "she is worthy of him and he will be happier with a true noble lady".
