Depends on the mechanism of dying. Generally speaking, it's not pollen as an organism that causes allergies, but particular proteins in it (which is why pollen allergies can also lead to food allergies for the foods that contain the same proteins). If the Duke's curse does not break up the constituent proteins of the things he kills, the allergies are a go, still.
