I like how her mind is a million times more perverted than his, even though he's the most sexually repressed man on the planet. Also, I like how he respects her secret, despite her spying in on his.

It's both that the Duke is asking permission to marry her, but also that his family is getting along together and that they're treating one another with respect as equals instead of being at one another's throats. She wants the Duke to have a family, essentially. (Remember, the first time she met the "modern" version of the Duke, he was a suicidal 13-year-old who had isolated himself because he was afraid of hurting everyone and his family essentially had abandoned him and left him to rot alone. Obviously, she wants that part of him never to resurface and for him to be so far removed from the curse and to fix the domestic issues plaguing their household.) @jak @MrF0x @HDMI1

It's not their children, but them AS children. They didn't run out of the room, but both the Duke and Alice were close as children and that's what made her fall in love with him. @aznkidx

I wonder what he saw? damn Alice an her self censoring lewdity

I do love how trusting and loving the Duke is of Alice because even though it said R-18 he trusts Alice more than the door and Alice isn't around those situations so what could she imagine

@Tamerlane Well, female libido is higher to compensate for stronger selection restrictions. And yes, I really suspect he was cursed to keep him away from Alice.

We all think about the R18 doors, but deep down inside we wish for the wholesome childhood memories

weird thought, since he kill everything he touch, can he wipe someone out of her memory if he touch them(w/o glove)?

I was thinking. This is an illusionary world, right? Does this mean their bodies are not physically there? If so, is the Dukes curse still there? Mmh.
@SmileOfJoker i think last time they did this the curse didnt apply
@R4nd0mGuy his curse only works in the real world. He even shared a kiss with Alice in a dream world before
Not exactly... it didn't apply to the illusions (these are merely illusory projections, not actual physically maniplatable memories or thoughts with a direct impact on her psyche), that much was made clear... what was not clear was whether the real Alice inside the box could still touch the Duke. Yes, this could be just like those dream worlds, but we don't know for absolute certain. I wouldn't risk it.

Alice is really pent up isn't she?
I get the impression from comparing this and the peek into his mind before that she's more pent-up than he is. I guess this feeds into what Morsealworth said about the female libido.

@jak They got married and their kids ran out of that room
No, that's just them as kids. Not one of the peeks into her mind has even implied she looks forward to them marrying, other than maybe something in the R-18 doors.

Maybe this is more a reflection of the fact she finds it so unlikely they'll end up married due to the difference in their social status so as to not entertain the thought herself.

To reiterate about the Secret room: That's just his family- The Duke, his mother Gerbera, his sister Viola, and his brother Walter, barely visible behind Viola's head. She wants to see him cured of his curse, but, like I said, she dares not entertain the thought of them being together in that 'ideal future'. At least, that's how I interpret this.

Of course, considering everything else, she'd be thrilled to be married to the Duke and be part of that family alongside him, but... she is just a servant child of a servant- she wouldn't dream to presume such, even though she knows her Duke dearly wants her hand in marriage.
