Humans: Female camaraderie, with hints that the cost of being a blood knight is sinful. (Kill an innocent, cannibalism, eat a goblin??)

Goblins turned female: Camaraderie? Or dominance/submission? So... Doc knew GMC when they both were goblins. And she cared about him? (Seems uncharacteristic of goblins.) Or maybe only cared in servant to master relationship? Or maybe primarily cared because there's some hope of being cured of being "human"?

Both seem to have been converted to female in the same way. We don't know how much Doc has been humanized mentally. She's gone farther in cutting her ears to hide her identity. We also don't know what tribe she belonged to. (Our GMC seems disdainful of all other goblin tribes.)

Are there no female goblins? Are they the "reproduce by raping other races" type of goblins? I'm wondering if Doc was also a male goblin. (Probably?) As per @BreadBunny & chapter 4, no reproductive origins, so neither male nor female.

It's interesting how goblins do not have reproductive organs (no gender?), I was speculating maybe goblins were originally humans, turned goblin after some sort of profane ritual, probably grown as a bioweapon? Maybe released by other nations to weaken the situation in the current country?

I don't know why the doc had her ears cut off, probably she has done it herself to hide her nature, but when why so sloppily? Why doc looked at the mc with teary eyes and talked about some hope bs? it's intriguing and i like it, the only thing i don't like is to wait another 3 months to possibly have a fraction of an answer. xD

huh... that line makes me wonder,
"I'm glad she's alive after all these years"... Was she actually originally normal, and was cursed to become a Goblin? And the ring didn't curse her to become a human, but rather undo her curse..?

I don't think she cut her ears, she mentioned something about Ish being "more goblin still."

Maybe Goblins aren't Goblins. maybe they started as something else, like Elves, and something turns them into Goblins, they lose who they were, and the ring undid the Goblinization, but Ish has been a Goblin for so long that her pre-Goblin self is gone. Maybe it's like LotR where Orcs and Goblins were Elves and Hunmans who were corrupted.

On pages 21 and 22 you can see that both of her ears have been cut down.

So, she hides here irises by squnting and her ears by cutting them down.

OTOH, Ish isn't squinting and her ears are completely out there, yet no one is freaking out. So, IDK.

I keep wondering if elves exist in this setting. That one human didn't seem too alarmed by the long ears, and if you don't look close enough or aren't familiar enough with elves, transformed gobbos look a lot like elves. Maybe a slight variation in pupil shape and ear shape/length?
