Why does the author keep bringing up 10 thousand as if it is a large number of lives lost in a war? It pales completely in comparison to wars we have had where millions die. Even the crusades, which I guess would be closer to this time period's battles than others such as WW1 or WW2, still ended up with well over a million lives lost.

I swear the oracle is gonna be super dramatic but it'll be "God says you two shall marry!" and nobody will give zero shits about whether the MC wants to or not, then she'll slowly fall for the ML and the crowd goes "Oh god not another one of these"
