I hate Tiktok, and I hate how it stigmatized fast-pace, implicated content.
And I hate how shallow people became due to it.
And I hate how shallow people became due to it.
Remember a chapter in this manga is like 2-4 chapters compared to other mangaIt got a hint of slop but is still one of the better ones in "reincarnate as villain" stories imo.
art is great but the plot progresses a lil bit fast like, the girls getting romantically attracted to mc all of a sudden in a single chap. all in all, it's already better than all of the cheat skill shits with mc actually struggles and grows. 7/10
a year has passed and I gotta say that my first paragraph is starting to age like a cold milk being left out in the middle of a hot sunny park, the story started to feel rushed while the chapters are getting shorter and more abrupt in the way they end and sometimes it's not even a subtle cut that at least give that feeling of closure to a chapter, wish it was just my excitement masking the reading experience and not the Manhwa starting to lose its charmthe plot is actually building up pretty well in this one, and i'll be honest, the plot is in NO WAY rushed at all, there's a lot of long chapters and we got a lot of part about MC adapting to his situation by growing from training, learning, and practical experience; he literally went from zero to hero through a lot of training and ironically, meddling with the storyline. Even if some people feels it is kinda rushed, think about it, this dude messed with the timeline since the beginning and butterfly effect is watching him with popcorns in hand, and there is a time skip during the summer vacation that jumps into fall or next semester, but tbh, i'd rather have that than some slow paced and probably full of drama training arc filler.
and ngl, it's also sorta close to "I Killed an Academy Player" in terms of theme, the difference only lies in the MCs' action and way of thinking though, in IKAP the MC is actively trying to prevent the ruin of the game universe as well as to prevent the GMC from messing stuffs up by killing him, it's also to keep his innocence safe from getting geh'd by the obsessive GMC too tbf lmao, and he did keep himself away from messing with the storyline at first but had enough of GMCs shenanigans.
While in here, the MC is legit focusing to stay alive, graduate with his diploma, and try to not mess with the story progression since he is so damn confidence that his existence won't mess the storyline (you thought lmfao), little did he know that by staying in the forest instead of leaving as god intended, he pretty much changed A LOT of things already, mind you that all he did at first was build a simple shelter, go fishin, and huntin to keep himself alive while trying to stay out of the story.
SPOILER ALERT: WAIFU PROGRESSION
as the golden rule of manhwa goes, MC will get AT LEAST 1 WAIFU per story, and mf got 3 in line (1 trad wife, 1 rich girl type, and 1 daughter/cat type) by the end of the recent chapter (27), and possibly another one after stage 2's arc is finished. And yet our chad right here, only focuses on IMPROVING his QOL by focusing on working on a shed that he built, then it's furnishing, then keeping foods stock in check, and finally to graduate with a diploma (also to make sure the daughter/cat type fed lol.)
And as another reminder, everything that we see/reads are from the POV of our MC's and anyone that is DIRECTLY in his proximity/involved in the arc, meaning, pretty much everyone OUTSIDE that circle still knows him by rumors' of him being this jerks and losers piece of noble. It's pretty funny to see the MC got misunderstanding piled up against him from time to time too kekw.
Them not focusing on something relatively unimportant doesn’t mean it’s lazy writing. And he does have the support of a few people as well. You can see the lazy isekai writing right off the bat.
