A real downgrade over the first one. No longer do you have a push-pull between various organizations with different goals, there's just the good guys and the bad guys. There aren't arcs either, just one ongoing bland plot.

There's a large focus on the pandemic in early chapters, which quickly became dated and just kinda feels like someone ranting about how they can't go outside like they want to.

Slice of life and downtime basically doesn't exist after the first few volumes. It's just action scene after action scene with no time to balance it out or let characters breathe.

...and finally, rape. Yes, there was sexual violence in the first series, but now you will not get a single scene with a female character in dire straits who is not immediately under threat of rape by someone.

Not as good as the first season. Lost the humor ans the charm. Theres nothing at stake really because Akira's just too strong, and no one really compared or made it close.

This manga definitely holds the same feel as the first part, but it loses a lot of the charm, especially in the second half. In the earlier phases you get classic comedy and slice of life bits that made part 1 so good, but then it later becomes but a long fight(which wasn't even that bad in my opinion, but it definitely made everything feel tons more bland.)

However, I think the biggest gripe I have is the actually absurd amounts of rape scaring and then adding one account of rape itself. There are 4 attempts(including the one which was successful) in this 86 chapter manga, averaging 1 attempt per 21 chapters. There are about 5 noteworthy women in this entire part and 3 of them manage to be threatened with rape, with the other two being Misaki and a random assassin. At some point it becomes weird even to those who don't find it disturbing, especially since this manga is an action manga about assassins.

Personally I ended up settling at a 7.5/10, going down from a 9/10 during the move towards the second half the manga.

underwhelming comparing to the first part, my guess this one cater to whom says that the action scene in the first part is lacking, so here we are, a long ass non stop action, which not in any way bad, but not the things that makes this manga so good in the first place, also the comedy is meh
