The whole organization with the boss clearly was set up for another part. And that was already announced after the 2nd part ended. It‘s not like the authro changed his mind after a couple months.

i read all of the fable and the second contract and was so excited to start the third part only to see im a bit too early.. only 7 chapters and theyre all in chinese lol

Second Contact was so unnecessary, hope this is more inspired.

The main story was already told so second contract was just tying up loose ends which is why you felt that way. Even the first part wasn’t all that original in terms of its concept. “Top hit man/assassin retiring and learning more about life while defeating bad guys” is pretty generic as far as manga plots go, it’s the characters, comedy, and art that really takes it places, and in my opinion, Second Contract was a very good successor to the first work in those areas.
