I may be wrong, but hopefully I'm not: In my opinion it's the character that's preachy, not the manga. And the manga and Nora even acknowledged it.
Except of the protagonist there wasn't a single decent character in this manga until now. Everyone is either manipulative, egocentric or a hypocrite. I think it's a breath of fresh air.
