I can see how you misinterpreted my comment, but the intent was devoid of romantic subtext (always get a little crawly feeling when skinship comes up). Frolic gotta be a beastfolk thing, hoomies less so.

To wit: a guardian with a close relationship with her charge would naturally feel excluded when the ward gains a new (and equally close) friend.
