Here it goes my TEDtalk, lol.
I agree with the comment below, but I guess she needs more time to realize the world she's in? Like she's processing this new world with her past values (which it may be good but we'll see) and some twisted perceptions since she doesn't really value her life but she still wants to live. I just don't know how much more time she does need tho, lol. I mean, she's been there for some days already and she's been facing quite a lot of things as well, so what else does she need to experience in order to react? I really hope this event will make her head clear. I don't want her to become someone useless, weak, and scary. She deserves to become someone stronger and capable for herself! >n<
I also don't understand where does she think she is and who does she thinks she is and I know she has the same trouble; however, I think that's exactly why she should focus on what she can do rn (like learning more about this world she's in -which it should be the most basic thing but again, I get it so I won't complain more-; learn magic properly; observe what's in front and around of her; ask about what's happening; what she can do; learning more about her family; etc).
So far she hasn't done any effort, she's just waiting for others to solve her problems or giving her ways to scape; doing nothing is equal to let the doors open for her existential crisis to attack her again and probably will mean her life is gonna be in risk (again). It's clear that she wants to live because she's afraid of getting hurt, but then she should react according to that desire. *Sigh* idk, it doesn't matter how u think about it, she barely knows anything and can do anything, that's super risky for her ( just like this time). I know this is a huge challenge for her, especially because of her severe depression, but rn she's facing a critical situation as well so I hope that will push her to react in a different way instead of paralyzing.
Btw, I'm not fond of the idea of him taking her "guilt" neither, simply because that's condescending. Do we need to make her smaller than she already is? I mean, emotionally our MC is acting like a kid, a pretty hurt and scared kid but u know what, she's not that anymore, and yeah, I feel empathy for her but I'm concerned. How much more time the people around her and her environment will give her all the solutions? Solving all her issues and telling her that it's ok, that you'll be accountable for whatever involves her just because she feels affliction it's not good for her. She needs love, but a mature and supportive yet defying according to what she needs one, and if u don't let her experience the consequences of her own actions, then everything will become a big red light for her sooner or later.
I understand she's starved from love and needs a lot of care (which I hope she'll receive at her own time), but at some point, she'll be alone and what will happen then?! There's will be always someone around her protecting her from others and from herself as well? I hope we'll be able to see her working for herself soon. I don't want to be too hard on her character since she's still frail but yeah, I hope she'll change.
The thing that is bothering me the most right now, is that she's too dependent on the Emperor and that was her first lesson today: don't become dependent on the Emperor. I don't care if she doesn't want to become the Empress or if she won't, she still can't let her entire self in the hands of others to be protected and cared. It doesn't matter if they're her family, her closest people or even a lover, if she does that, there's a high danger in front of her and she's gonna try to kill herself again just because that other person is not reacting as per her wishes anymore.
Pls grow, girl. :b
Edit: he was awesome saying he was doing his best to not make her feel uncomfortable. lol.
Ty guys, you're doing awesome! >u<
