That felt so short! How is Dowun gonna react when he finds out about her "outing".
Thanks for the chapter!

Second male lead's convenience level is over 9000. He's like an isekai protagonist lol. Makes him boring, to be honest.

Baek is way too good for this manga, for his own good. Not just the other characters but he's pissing off Dowun keks as well. Baek would probably end up being a scapegoat in the upcoming chapters, Death flags are already over him. Still, I love the direction this is going, Hopefully it ends with Dowun murdering Baek in front of MC thus starting the trail of blood. If the ending was something like Dowun being defeated by MC only to cry something like "Why wont things go my way?" as he drops dead. Would be based as fuck.
Another thing I'd love to see would be Dowun getting cajoled by his brother. Hope he's antagonistic towards Dowun instead of getting a brother complex.Imagine Dowuns face as his brother steals the Yang Clans support from him. Priceless.
But it won't happen...After author milks Baek dry its Dowuns turn....😭😭😭

While I'm glad the kid is ok, Baek Han is kind of breaking bodyguard 101 here. I know the author is trying to emphasize what a nice guy he is but the whole point of a bodyguard is for them to remain at their master's side at all times so they can protect them in the case of a sudden event or attack. Here he leaves her, among a crowded area near a rushing flooded river, to go chase after a commoner. Moreover, he simply told her to wait there and rushed off. As a servant of the Empress, he should have to wait for her command before doing anything outside his guard duty. At the very least, he would normally be expected to get permission to leave the Empress' side, and truth be told, even then he really shouldn't as her guard leave since there are no other guards present to cover for his absence.
