@arrow1350 I agree. She's flawed but that makes her relatable. She really needs to take responsibility for her actions instead of blaming Dowun for it all. Dowun and Baek Han are direct foils. Han reminds her of her past self, the one who was kind but would never have survived this long (the crown prince undoubtedly would've purged her upon taking the throne). But she's unwilling to come to terms with the current self she needs to be to survive and rule effectively. Not receiving Dowun's affection/approval is only part of the equation. I keep getting the sense that she doesn't like her current self, is tormented by her conscience, and as a consequence, is distancing herself from Dowun who she blames for and reminds her of her current state as psychological defense
