Eh, I guess I can't complain too much about her seeking out the ancient and powerful ego sword of time to make everything right again.
Still feels a bit contrived.
Also the real question is why is that sword just... sitting there? Ya know, like the master sword in the temple of time?
Just handwaving over some details because whatever.

probably because it was one of the two swords made by god. Also it was probably "there" but not there. Collect the series and that sword will be revealed or some such thing

As for why the sword was just sitting there, it feels like someone planted it there in the hopes of sabotaging/murdering the family. Why do that for what appears to be an average not-so-politically-powerful count family? Who knows? 🤷‍
