Geez why did the author spoil who the guy is on the cover?

I assume that it's that the tankoubon volume covers are released post-publishing when the chapters are already done, thus why the covers of some manga have spoilers of things that will happen in that volume.

I probably already know the obvious answer. But just to make sure.

Do Japan Universities does that? Where they scout freshman to join a club and then invite them straight to a mixer after? Cause that's just weird imo and felt a little bit too rushed.

In my country, they just open a booth and if people want to join then you can write your name, etc on the given paper, then got invited to a groupchat, and then you'll be notified when the first day of club activities, and you'll be introducing yourselves there.

It does happened in the whole world, you are just lucky that your uni/college opt for using group chat to do recruitment.
Super Free case in Japan.

In any case, you should not go alone or drink any alcohol unless you have a friend who won't consume a lot of drinks.
Man or woman don't matter because both will be drunk or drugged and shit happens.

Well, that's the case sometimes, but chapter 1 already showed us the husband + that he was named "Kakeru", which I assume we'll get told as this guy's name next chapter, so I don't think this was ever really meant to be a "who'll she end up marrying?" type of story anyway.

Whole world? Damn. I thought that my uni way is the normal method to do club recruitment.

Because i mean, joining a club doesn't necessarily means that you will be committed and be an official member of that club instantly and have responsibilities that you need to take care of, ESPECIALLY when you just joined like not even 6 hours ago. Duhh.

You have to adapt yourself first, see if the members/seniors there makes you feel welcomed and doesnt do the otherwise, basically see if the clubs vibes in general fit for you or nah, if you don't, you leave, simple as that.

So yeah, damn. Im surprised that most of the world uni, as you said, do the 'Japan' method let's just say for their club members recruitment.

The problem is that freshmen got, lets say "overwhelm" in their first year.

You probably did experience your first semester. Too much to do this and that. Wanting to fit in the cliques immediately.

So you will be surprised how easily it is for the "recruiters" to cajole the freshmen, they often hire a "member" to coax them into joining. Only to disappear midway before you realize you are in the center of the fishing net.

Maybe after your first year, you might know the ins & outs of your college to avoid this stuffs.

An is cute. I just wish both her and Honoka just up and left after realizing they were deceived. They shouldn't have to play along with this shit. It's college not high school; unless this institution is that small (and even then still) you're not that likely to run into these tricksters again.

Thanks for the translation (I guess peer pressure's a bitch no matter where you are in life).
