If that is what you got from this, you’re far less mature than Kaoruko. Subaru obviously didn’t go behind her back maliciously, even Kaoruko and Rintaro recognized that. Subaru was just looking out for Kaoruko, maybe not in the right way but her heart was in the right place. She rightfully apologized even before Kaoruko found out. A bad person would only apologize after the other person found out and would make excuses. Subaru never blamed Tsugumi or Kaoruko, she blamed herself and called herself a bad person for doing it. A bad person does not think they’re a bad person usually.

No one is saying that going behind another person back like this is okay, but asking for forgiveness and being open about what you did that couldve hurt that person is a good thing. I could understand having your perspective if Subaru had waited for their relationship to fall apart THEN she apologized, but that didnt happen, so it doesnt make sense saying what you said.
true, and author is writing younger characters here. genuinely good people can be immature then grow up

Now, I remember why I dropped this manga at this chapter, it was stupid. If my best friend did something like that behind my back, I would have been furious and our friendship would have been greatly damaged.
although you got quite a bit of hate from this comment,
imma just say you aren't completely wrong

While what

did was not good, it's nice to see that she came to realize that and actually apologize before any damage was done, even tho she did not really have any bad/malicious intentions behind what she did, and ngl I genuinely love the characters and progression so far :bocchiwave:

Whats with the word "Love" being used so many times? It felt so weird!
Japanese people tend to not actually literally say "I love you," or aishiteru, as that's seen as cringey and over the top. Instead they say "I like you," or suki da yo, or daisuki da yo for "I like you a lot." That ambiguity is why in shitty romcoms it's pretty common for characters to misunderstand a confession as just saying they like them as a friend or something

You're lame that's just it, I mean, I would be angry, but mad and "our friendship... greatly damaged" hell nah, not over that

So... Because you could not understand what happened there and because she didn't acted the exact way you would act you dropped it?
I totally can understand why Subaru acted the way she acted, and she felt guilty about it AND come in the open, why she would ruin her friendship?
I don't want to fell like telling personal details here (it's nothing serious by the way, just don't want to do it now)
But, I can understand the feeling
