It's... a nice effort. Very sincere. But it doesn't read as real. The hand of the author is visible everywhere. You can definitely tell it was written by a woman too. The boys think and act like oversensitive middle school girls. A lot of the interactions are melodramatic or forced.
I think, as with many manga, the high rating stems more from the lack of offensive or challenging content than the presence of great artistry. I have the exact opposite opinion regarding a work's worth.
You may have a nice time reading it if it's your cup of tea, but there is nothing profound to be discovered here.
