I don't dislike straight romance stuff but I'm also not that interested in leads being paired off with characters without much consequence. Maybe that isn't what happens here but given how focused all the preview stuff was on the two leads, and how good their dynamic looked to be, I'm definitely disappointed to see the focus gets taken away, romantic or not. Don't think I'll keep going with this one, not just because I feel a little baited but definitely a little because of that.

I hope they at least find someone worthy of them. I'm not sticking around for that though. The idea that arranged het marriage is the reason her life was ruined makes it odd that she'd end in a romance with a male character. Not very odd considering yuri in china always has the chance of being cancelled by the ccp but odd nonetheless. It was patriarchy that killed her dreams so I'd expect her to avoid it if given a second chance...
