Doesn't casualty mean injured or dead?

Not faulting the translators for this. If that's the way it's written, that's the way it's written. Just wondering why so many people get confused by this word.

Casualty
Def- a person killed or injured in a war or accident.

They may have meant fatalities, but if an injury is so minor that it does not remove you from regular service, it isn't considered a casualty in many cases. I think the word gets tossed around a lot, but it was probably originally meant to describe personnel that are lost to service, either through death or needing to be relieved of duty temporarily or permanently. If you got scratches and bruises, that’s not a casualty. If you need stitches or broken bones, casualty.

Rust is the artillery, the grid square deleter. But he can't do everything by himself, there is a reason the infantry still exists.
