This story tries to mix slice-of-life with cute animals with impending apocalypse dungeon invasions (a la Solo Leveling, whatever that genre is called). It doesn't really come together in a way that makes sense if you think about it, mostly because to maintain the slice-of-life vibes, the story has to steer away from dealing with the questions that come with the high stakes. It doesn't even use this contrast for comedy, which may have been able to bring everything together. (If the story was trying that, it really did not land for me.)
I respect the attempt at putting the ideas together, but the execution is off. Though, if you turn off your brain, there's some fun to be had here.
