@herShie_4ever It's not that they're stupid (though most of them are). It's that they're a bunch of people in high positions or those who serve people in high positions. Haven't you ever heard that infamous Nixon interview? "when the President does it, that means it is not illegal." People in positions of power are generally excellent examples of how having power tends to change you for the worse.
