Okay, I don't want to go back and re-read everything, so I hope someone can answer this for me: What's this lotus in her stomach she keeps talking about? I know it's blocking her cultivation, but I can't remember where that plot point started.

@Arugel I think you miss this part of her that she said a long time ago. She LOVES her curves as a woman, but LOVES the mainly aura she can express when she shows herself as a man. She LOVES to be independent and do whatever she wants as a man in society, but she LOVES to attract and play around with guys AND girls.
She just dress up as a guy cuz she has more liberty to be herself instead of a girl. Look in all the girls dressing as girls. how dot hey behave? as a dutiful daughter, a damsel in distress, or a seductress. She is none of them. She is a strong will person who is hot headed and that is not how a girl nor a woman should behave. That is too childish or a trait only man should have.
It looks more natural to dress up as a man. Just think of her just wearing men clothes without make up. She is just so androgynous that she can "change" her gender according to what she wear cuz society has decide what traits a man and a woman should have to be able to separate them apart. but since she is androgynous her appearance change... think of it as it she got hazel eyes. sometimes it looks more green than more and another time more brown than green and another in the middle cuz of how light reflect and contrast with the surface. the same principal applies here.
