One thing I will say about Chinese manhuas...They really know how to write characters that you want to beat the shit out of and kill. They're great at writing characters to hate.

More like that's the only type of character they know to write...
I have come to dislike Chinese manhuas and cultivation stories in particular because everybody in the history of forever is "courting death" and kills people because they sneezed the wrong way.
It gets repetitive real fast...
