nah, these kids have got to be in middle school, or the equivalent of 7th through 9th grade (ages 13-14 to 15-16). They act way too young for high schoolers. I'd try to give specific examples, but the chapters get renumbered so often it'd be a waste of time. I know it said Komura was 16 years old somewhere, but that had to be a mistranslation.

I do know that Komura spends the first year crushing on Mie, and it shows the beginning of second year.
