Like others mentioned, that was pathetic. I usually like edgy stuff like that but that one was lame. No buildup, forced encounter and tons of plot holes. Where the fuck are the guards? Who supervises this thing? Why does the girl act like she does?

Maybe I'm too harsh, if it truly is the Mangaka's first published manga.

i guessed nobody supervise and guard because the miners are not employees but something like freelance who directly sell theirs results to the merchants of the town. The same to the adventurers who cleaned the monsters; but who own the mine? it don't really work as an explanation for your complain, it only add holes to the narration.
i will try to read a few more chapters because this manga have a good note here but i think like you for the rest, it's lame.
