Haa, I read the light novel. The author was a complete newbie and he messed up his 2nd volume really bad, it got axed and he never wrote another story again. Boo. Author hope life went well for you after wards.

@AxelFaiz Maybe nobody has yet invented a better one? As it is, it can actually be worse than useless in certain situations. Like, if someone leaves their tag behind to ambush you, but somehow you manage to turn the tables and slay the attacker, you will get the red, criminal name. However, if the ambusher had succeeded, they wouldn't have been labelled red. So, it basically carries such an extra danger. The tag is just an id. The red name system is a flawed functionality in lack of anything better.

@AxelFaiz it's a flaw system not a useless one, just looks at the current law and taxes system, people still managed to find loophole in it. To create a perfect system is no easy task when people always find way to cheat it.

Hmm, okay he just messed up the world building. It's a problem newbie authors have whenntheu get their first sudden success. Instead of going slow and steady with their story they start adding in a bunch of other stuff to take the story to the next level but the story just ends up a big dumpster fire.

I can only think of sword art online, the first novel was a fantastic book but it was meant to be a stand alone story. Once the author got too successful he didn't know how to continue it due to inexperience and the story ended up trashed.

The same happened here his little free novel got picked up by a publisher and then they wanted a manga and the manga needed more content so he had to rush out a second novel and he kept making the world 'more interesting' but he ended up making his novel stupid and it got axed. Sorry for no specific details its been a while since I read the webnovel in 2019.
