So the demon is a (likely) love interest... and he's interested in the Female lead because... she reminds him heavily of his sister?... Gross.

@sinkingship Shes playing low key so she can ruin them later. however if she acted on her own they would keep a closer eye on her or lock her up / beat her. Its less that they have the ability and more than she cant really defend herself against them now. At least thats how I interpreted it.

@ARealCoolGuy I mean its not really that gross. If you love a family member and someone else has similar qualities then I can see why you would fall for them romantically. Love is weird in that way.

i found the part where he suddenly appeared out of nowhere funny lol. in french, given that "regarde" is the conjugated form or the verb "regarder" (to look), it was as if her inner thoughts screamed "beautiful--look!".
i can only imagine how much someone could've been teased , were they to live here.
"oh c'est beau--regarde... "... that's the context they'd use the two words (or your name/last name) in lol

Anyways, thanks for the chapters! Very much appreciated. The ending of this chapter was sad.. but also sweet in its own way
