It makes zero sense the way she switches between housemaid and 'ohohoh' style noble young lady on a dime like this. If her evil relatives are so oppressive how are they letting her out to socialize with the upper crust? If they're lax enough to let her go out and meet with princes and kings, how do they have the nerve to treat her like a maid? It's all so contradictory.

@sinkingship Well, you can't exactly deny a request from the Princess, but you can find an 'excuse' like saying Adriana is sick. Say she's sick for a party too many times though, and people will start to get worried, start visiting, look into her situation and... the jig is up. Adriana also can't admit to the abuse happening to her because she doesn't have too much high power support. That's changing, but she needs to solidify those bonds before calling out her stepmom and stepsister. For now, the abuse is behind closed doors where no one will admit to it occurring, for fear that they'll lose their jobs or prestige for going against the powerful Duchy.
