@A1B2C3 actually, as far as i can tell, at this point he doesn't like her particularly much (on the basis that she's evasive and has lied to him for seemingly no reason), but he does
respect her. hence the whole "she doesn't do anything that isn't important" sort of thing; might as well see what she's getting into, since it seems important/might be related to the whole divine doctor thing. and since he knows she's related to the divine healer, it's a good idea to keep tabs on her, but at the same time he knows he won't get anything out of her right now, so shouldn't bother wasting his time trying to interrogate her or anything. like she said, not a great idea to hang out here and try to get answers out of her… she's just gonna evade them and he won't get anywhere, or at least not easily. so he seems to respect what she's doing there, even if he doesn't really know what's going on with her family. (and her ability to deceive him and sort of get away with it/he likes talking with her/finds her funny.) but at the same time he doesn't like that she lied to him in the beginning, and knows that she's very secretive. that's how i read him and how he thought about her at this point, at least… DJGHIKLF sorry i went a bit wild on this, i just really like this chapter a lot. ^^
edit: oh, also it wouldnt hurt to get on her good side. he could later bring it up and use that to get her to help with his father / with something else. (oh, and though im the QC for this series, i’ve only finished a couple chapters ahead, and they don’t relate to these theories at all so don’t expect any of what i said to be correct (or not correct); it’s just my own speculation)
