I taught myself to read due to a need to be able to read magazines about video games
I suck at writing because beyond just getting my idea across, what is the point of perfect grammar when it will never pay me to have it?
I taught myself high school level math because dammit I needed to min max an rpg harder than it was ever min maxed before.
My second grade teacher saw my use of algebra as a slight on her ability to teach and actively punished me for it.
Science was always interesting on a practical level, and I excelled there, but when will I ever need to know the difference between mitosis and meiosis irl, doesn't help that so many science teachers I had required perfect spelling of their long as hell words so I got an easy A in every practical science thing, and an F in every written no practical science.
Toss out every single bit of english, that has literally taught me nothing beyond what I had to teach myself
Math has more or less been useless passed knowing how to input things and passed being able to do multiplication and division in my head.
history was more or less the exact same thing for 12 years just with less lies each time,
