Between the muscle brain Anastoria and the charmed Sephiria I'd say both Kane and Maya are in for a lot of trouble and headaches. Should be fun. XD
Pg 26 has the wrong pronoun in panel where Anastoria is saying WE MUST PAY BACK THE DEBT WE OWE FOR SAVING MY LIFE!! Should be a debt for saving Sephiria who actually died. Anastoria wasn't hurt or injured at all. Btw, in case anyone hasn't realized Anastoria is head over heels with Kane for exchanging the fruit to save her friend's life for only a few silvers, and Sephiria has love vision as well for saving her life with so little gain just to help a stranger in need. Maya seem more into girls then men but after some more shenanigans by the other two is likely going to agree to Kane joining just to have someone else with common sense and uses their brain to think in the party. Although Anastoria should have considered that a D rank who runs from goblins and only completes a quest to collect medicinal herbs rather than any monster subjugation quests might feel too weak to join an S rank party. Also, LN mentioned that guild receptionist has a bit of a crush on Kane. Don't remember if reason was given but think it was something along the lines of him always acting like a humble gentleman with her while most of the other adventurers were loud mouthed braggarts always hitting on her with thinly veiled bad intentions.
PS The reason why Anastoria was sure Kane would be able to beat the dragon according to the LN was because she damaged it's throat so it couldn't do breath attacks, punctured the poison sacs so it couldn't spew poison mist, sliced up the wings so it couldn't fly, and beat the hell out of it so the poor thing was only a few hps away from dying before dragging it where Kane would come across it. Think LN it wasn't able to move from spot was laying in too.
@Hunlight This is the abridged version! The original was fifty pages long, with a bibliography and all. Had to carve my soul up chopping 99% of it down to this! Oh the pain, the agony!
