The Great Doomed Yuri Question

Imagine this: @panzerkampfwagyu has put you into one of his Guy Inbetween a Yuri Couple™ missiles, or whatever its called and sends you to a series that features a doomed yuri couple (e.g.: SANDA, Fuyumura x Ono), at the point when said Yuri couple becomes doomed (e.g.: Ono falls asleep and undergoes puberty overnight). For whatever reason, the part of the missiles that creates a love triangle between you and the couple has broken, meaning that you're able to intervene in whatever way you please.
Either it's due to their upgraded defenses, or a faulty missile. Call it.

The question is, would you attempt to save the couple from becoming doomed, or instead try to establish the love triangle on your own?

srry but "relationship that doesn't work out" is not real doomed yuri. its unfortunate but there is no doom.

if there is not a tragic death of which one of the main characters is directly responsible for (regardless of it's an accident or through inaction or what have you) or a witness to something out of their control it's not doomed yuri. if she doesn't turn her sword upon herself it's not doomed yuri.

make that girl live the rest of her life striving to find someone even half of her late partner and then we can talk about Doomed Yuri.

You don't need to do anything, that missile launcher malfunctions and always explodes before anyone is shot, so the yuri couple is never aware of that failure.

Theorically they should die anyways, being shot and then landing at a high speed? When it reaches the ground whatever person shot is just dismembered limbs and a spray of blood. But if it explodes, the evil shooting them would die as well, and then the number of casualties would be minimal.

While a guy exploding into liquefied human in-between the two girls should definitely stop Yuri from happening, the GITG Launchers are completely safe and neither kill nor harm the guy or the two girls. Anti-Yuri tech is truly a marvel of engineering.

If I wanted to do that, I would use normal rocket launchers, duh.

Well, it certainly would also stop yuri from happening if it resulted in an explosion. I imagine the two girls having other thoughts than romance if they are suddenly covered in gore.

Well, there are series with yuri that happens precisely because they're killing or people are dying. An example that has anime.

Well, from my extensive knowledge, two things happen to males when they get in between yuri: they either lose their masculinity or lose their lives. And those who secrectly spy to ruin yuri become instead converted to yuri enjoyers, being yuri air, yuri walls or yuri cuppits. Should the launches be a success, experience will tell; how are they received? Quite badly, no matter the place.
