Maybe because you started at ch 20, wtf?? There is no way you are a real person smfhI'm masochistic and read chapters 21-25 as well. The story is worse than the translation.
Skipping the initial setup and jumping to a later point is a reasonable way to check for story and translation quality. And based on those 6 chapters, I think the story is poor.Maybe because you started at ch 20, wtf?? There is no way you are a real person smfh
I read to ch. 13, and that's it? That's why you want this character to die?I do like some of the design elements but good god I'm on ch. 13 and I cannot express how much I hate Christa. I would hope she dies but this story is generic enough the annoying characters are probably gonna pile on.
Yeah and I kept reading on, she still acts like an annoying twat.I read to ch. 13, and that's it? That's why you want this character to die?
I was expecting some villainess shit, bullying or something. But no, she's just been in the story for 2 chapters, and just see herself as the MC's rival, like it's been done thousand times before. Plus, unlike that worthless MC who's always "not my problem/ain't got time for that" whenever someone need help, and only act out of his feeling of guilt toward his dead friends, Christa actually tried to help people in need. I'd rather have someone like her around than the MC.
Yeah and I kept reading on, she still acts like an annoying twat.
A person can do a noble thing but if they're annoying as fuck you don't want to be around them. Just because they have a sad back story or whatever doesn't mean they can't choose how they act.
So even if she has a character arc it seems like this is just gonna be her locked in personality so of course I don't want to keep seeing this character.
So you just want to play the "I'm right and I will nitpick unimportant things or brush things aside to make my point" game. What happens in the story after you made your initial comment is irrelevant. It doesn't matter if she turns out to be the demon lord or a saintess, you made that comment from what you knew at ch. 13.
You didn't say "I don't want to keep seeing this character", but "I would hope she dies".
Not "she goes away", "her personality change", but "she dies" because "she's annoying".
Ha ha ha. "It's not me who's trying to muddle the issue by bringing up irrelevant arguments, it's you who's nitpicking by focusing on the same points".So you just want to play the "I'm right and I will nitpick unimportant things or brush things aside to make my point" game.
Glad to know we have nothing else to talk about from now on.
Now parroting. Do you actually have anything to say or are you just trying to get the last word?Ha ha ha. "It's not me who's trying to muddle the issue by bringing up irrelevant arguments, it's you who's nitpicking by focusing on the same points".
With all that I would say 4/10I'd give the series 6/10. It's pretty generic for a "time lost" story, which is fine since there aren't a lot of them but man is it a slow burn. There is a combat duel that takes 4 chapters just to finish which is pretty annoying since every character says the fight will end in "10 seconds" but just gets dragged on.
The translation is fine and the characters are interesting but some (Christa in particular but his aunt too) can be gratting with how they talk and treat the MC, it feels like they put them on max tsundere.
I will say there is this character whiplash that happens with the MC since he claims to live without regrets of his past (and actively does so) till he sees an old friend's grave and it becomes a major plot point again.
But yeah over all it's fine, it would be good if it wasn't so slow but a solid 6/10
