Competition has five participants. So only five amulets. With ten talismans in the woods.
Amulets 30 Points. Multiply by 5 and you get 150.
Talismans 10 Points. Multiply by 10 and you get 100.
Only 250 Points in the whole game. MC is said to have three amulets and two talismans at 110. Annoying Ringlets has 90 and is shown holding a amulet. Then Fail upwards here shows up holding two amulets and gets 60 and has no talismans even when shown getting one. End total point count 260 with a number of talismans missing.
Fail Upwards cheated. I would say it was an artist mistake but the translation also tallies it as a stray amulet. The teacher laughs and never notices.
Also we get a scene when falling MC fingerbangs the ground in some attempt to kill the earth before he dies from falling damage.
Then we get four region masters showing up when someone cries out the nine region masters are here.
And finally the whole month long training session takes place after the MC just finished his own personal level 2 Cultivation array and proceeds not to use it.
