why Aya can't just be happy about that one thing?? I hate how she has to feel guilty bc she wants to go to prom even if Mitsuki isn't coming. I don't like how Sumiko write their dynamic it's just so unfair

Love how Koga act like this when she is the one that started to hang out with everybody else…

Nice job by the author creating parallels between our two couples. Kanna wanted to pursue her dreams, Joe couldn't take the risk citing Mitsuki as his excuse. Their life goals conflicted with their romantic goals.

Now we have the inverse, where Mitsuki wants to go to the prom with Aya, and Aya thinks Kanna should follow her music dream.

What I think the author is cooking is using Joe and Kanna as a cautionary tale for Mitsuki. It won't be Joe who has the last talk with Kanna, but Mitsuki. Kanna will tell her how she loved them but couldn't stay in Japan. Mitsuki will see the bigger regret was leaving romance aside. It probably culminates in a dramatic "Mitsuki shows up at the prom and gets the last dance with Aya, (then they make out. Ok maybe wishing for too much there).

Don't let the record label take you out to lunch
You're the one who has to pay at the end of the day

Did I have a stroke, or did they make up outside of a chapter?
The forced drama feels tired at this point like the editor wants the author to continue now that its getting good volume sales, but after a while it becomes draining to read.

Are you all forgetting chapter 107? Mitsuki wanted to go to prom. Joe, Kanna and Aya encouraged her to go to the music party. She asked if it overlapped with prom and Aya told her it could be the chance of a lifetime. Then before Mitsuki could reply, Aya said she wasn’t going to prom anyway. Kanna is the one who encouraged Aya to go. They’re both doing something because someone else told them it was a good idea, when it’s clear they want to go to prom together.

The drama doesn't feel forced to me. Mitsuki has always had this problem. It was the same problem when she didn't tell Aya the truth about who she was. It was the same problem when she gave away her RHCP tickets to help Aya. It's the same problem now. Mitsuki just does not communicate.

Seems like I'm in the minority for enjoying this chapter. Even if the plot seems generic, it makes sense in the broader context of our two girls and provides a foundation for a satisfactory (even great) conclusion. Good use of paneling and color, too.

That dress is gonna look dynamite and I am not sure we'll be ready for it :meguupog:

You all don't like concentrated teenage angst? :aquadrink:

The continuous miscommunication makes sense to me, as others have said, since they never actually resolved their communication issues. I hope Koga's conversation with Joe may change that since it will give Koga a glimpse of a possible future where she keeps going with the flow and doesn't fix things with Aya.

The pacing doesn't bother me much, the story length is equivalent to 2 volumes of regular length manga. Some particularly cruel yuri will make you wait until Volume 7 or worse, I don't think we will be waiting that long. I could understand it being more annoying if this is one of the primary GL mangas you follow...

I am eagerly anticipating Narita's reaction to their nonsense like a kid waiting for Christmas...am I the only one?

I loved binging this but being caught up for a while now makes waiting a week for just 4 pages kind of annoying

If they don't want to be strung along, then say it! Especially with Oosawa-san, she has been grumbling in the background while Koga is given nothing to go off of, Oosawa didn't even tell her she was gonna go to the prom
Oosawa made the right call imo. Koga should prioritize her career over prom, especially when they're still just friends at this point.
