When I saw the title, I really hoped this was a remake of the movie of the same name.

MY FUCKING GOD WHAT A HORRIBLE FINAL CHAPTER
COMPLETE AND UTTER WASTE OF TIME
I usually like stories like this, apocalypse scenario with the main character having some kind of immunity or synergy with the infection or whatever is going on, and the stakes involved are the characters that actually can die, Sweet Home for example
but holy shit I want my two hours back I spent reading this

Don't get invested in anyone because it doesn't matter, people die for no reason, the main character gets his emotions back and sorts out his problems just in time to let his own zombified mother kill him, just for her to go back to being human right after killing him and thusly kills herself by jumping out the window
his love interest and her dad live on and life somehow returns to normal within 7 years, because its revealed that the zombies turn back into humans, his other love interest, the presidents daughter just goes back to her birdcage of a dad and doesn't do anything after finding out that HE KNEW THEY WOULD TURN BACK
the nice manga reading nerd that the main character saves after first gaining back his emotions gets killed alongside his family after they reuinte for the sole reason of, their neighbor was jealous that they were happy
