No offense....I found the bird metaphor creepy as hell kfjdkjfkj. Maybe it's not supposed to be so literal but...still creepy xD But anyway, I do feel bad he has all these pressures since he was young to be perfect and mature. And imo Lu Yang also needs to grow up a little...love isn't as idealistic as she believes to be either.

ahh, i want to root for lu yang, but i relate to zhuang cheng. expectations made me twisted as a kid as well. i had a superiority complex but broke down every time i couldn't do something perfectly. the effects of expectations are slowly creeping into zhuang cheng's life too. they both have their points though. i think it's mostly because of how they were raised. lu yang never had to choose, she was always happy as a child and her parents doted on her. zhuang cheng was forced to grow up early and was expected to be mature and perfect. they're two people who fundamentally have different mindsets, which sometimes can work out in a relationship, but i think that maybe their timing just wasn't right. lu yang has to mature first, and zhuang cheng has to learn to let go of his insecurities as well.
