Great story progression so far.

Manhole incident is interesting. Reminds me of a lawsuit I had to study for Tort Law where a woman fell through one also. She did not survive, but her unborn child did.

Don't step on them.

Wow these chapters put me in an emotional rollercoaster... Everyhthing was so successfully portrayed.

And even though not all of us are in acting world, I think we can all relate to her in a way. When life seems to come at us, when other people seem far ahead of us, feeling as if we are some kind of a joke material...

Thank you for your bringing us this masterpiece, and thank you for the recommendations <3 🤩

And @lordWololo 😱 i thought these things didn't happen anymore. That's really sad to hear :( And thank you for your warning

I'd like to hug Lu Yang and tell her that everything will be fine. 😢
Luckily Chi Cheng is by her side. ❤️
Thank you so much for the chapters

@Bagend Comrade, you're absolutely right about this story. It's definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I really enjoy that the Characters aren't the usual "low IQ for plot reasons" that you see in many stories, but feel like real people with complete lives.

Regarding the Manhole, there's a book called Factfulness, where an Indian doctor tells some europeans after someone putting a leg in to stop the doors of an elevator and almost losing their leg in the process something like: "Your culture of safety is making the world dangerous for you." lol

Thanks again for the updates! I really hope a decent Korean tv station can one day creat a drama out of this (idk if a Chinese one, or a low production korean one would do it justice)
Some terrible webtoons and manwhas/manhuas are made into dramas just because they're popular but this is extremely high quality: the characters are fully fleshed out, everything happens for a reason, the character dynamics are interesting, no useless time jumps, theres so much chemistry, barely any cliches, and it shines light on how tough the entertainmemt industry is.
I am so in love with this but im very emotionally attached to it so i sometimes avoid reading it cuz of the heartbreak😂
