From the hour of googling i did, the author made racist tweets that got dug up. there is a thread on reddit about it. Its the only place i could find any sort of explanation.

noooooooooooooo, I just found this manga and I found it really really good, this is 3x better than Redo Of Healer. more serious, deeper, more brutal, but the lore inside it are very good too and make sense.
and I really like the MC, Kaito and Minaris, noooooooooooo (((((((
