Yep, thats terrible parenting right there. Especially since he did tell his wife that he won't take his daughter to the palace if she doesn't want to. He knows the risks, but decides to manipulate his family anyway.
Shitty development since we know somehow the boy will be the lead and the shitty parenting we saw will be justified in the end. I'll probably drop this after a few chapters if it continues ngl.
