That little bitch hit first.
Is it a translation error or did the queen really say that finea started attacking first?

@ROOR21ROO Unfortunately, that's not how must royal relationships worked in the past. Due to decorum and traditions and all that, it was actually rare for high nobles and royalty to see their parents often, and education was usually passed off to aides or people who put those aides in power. Not to mention, as a royal child, they would usually never show weakness and hide their suffering if they had any. Well this also depends on which culture the royalty adopted or were based on, but it is largely true that royalty rarely give more than a few passing words to their progeny.

In fact, being a super close family and talking about your feelings with each other didn't even become a thing until this century, after all that psychological research results became a thing.

Anyways, they need to fire the princes Aide. He is really fucking up the prince and taking him in a wrong direction.

but as his mother, she's still at fault. i get that if the empress was too busy to see her son, but what did she do when she found out her son was struggling? did she set aside time to take care of her son? did she go to comfort him? no, instead, all she did was call upon the commander of the knight's children to ease his mental instability. and if the queen was so busy that she couldn't even care for her son, how come she had the time to deal with a CHILD'S QUARREL? the empress is lazy and neglecting to a fault, and that's on period.

What do you expect the empress to do? This is exactly how royals were back then. The children were raised by their nannies and aides... It was rare for them to see their own parents.

It was just a child’s scuffle. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's pretty realistic. The royal family has most likely endured that man as the Prince's tutor because of the power of the Empress Dowager, they are clearly aware of his bad treatment and influence on the child. Hence why the knights loyal to the Emperor strong armed him away from the Prince sword lessons and also interfered when the tutor tried to stop the play date. This is what happens when a child is caught up in politics and power struggles. It's hard enough raising a decent human being in a rich and powerful family where the parents are too busy with their jobs to even raise their own child, add malicious intent inside your own extended family and it's no wonder the kid is a mess.

@Kabeidon_ Wow, extreme much? He's a freakin' four year old forced to over-study and is clearly portraying the same corrective behavior that he must have learned from being hit himself by that aide. It's clear he's being taught wrong. Don't blame the kid, blame the parents. Having a tantrum doesn't even warrant death.

The empress seems so caring... Why is that crazy tutor allowed to stay by the princes side??? How doesn't she notice???

Thank you for the double update (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

The prince needs a day to chill and socialize. Kids turn into brats mostly due to the way they were raised. I know he hit her, but he has a lot of time to grow out of that behavior with proper guidance

Awww, adorable, so the kid actually has a good mother as well, mmm, he needs better habits so his emotional state can improve, I'm glad she kicked his ass hahaha.
