I guess the logical conclusion would be relevant to real life situation of the girl forgetting her tampon.

IE. Her method of previously disposing eggs require preparation or specific tool beforehand. And she forgot it.

Then why not just bring it home hidden in her school bag? They clearly managed to bring it to the forest, so I'd assume they can make it home with the egg. I think the author just forgot the fact that she should have some method of disposal if it's monthly.

No idea, I assume it's a park rather than a forest and the park was just right next door. Compared to traveling home.

I also assume the device for disposal is inconvenient. Or. You know, she might be bird brained or just klutz.
