I get that there are no rules against a group/translator promoting themselves here, but putting a credit page on a 1 page per chapter comic AND putting credit watermarks on the comic itself? A bit too eager to stroke your epeen here don't you think? You might want to cut back a bit on the promotions there.

@Udooky I'm really, really sorry for such a delayed reply. I just now looked at the comments... As a group we decided to have both credits specifically for mangadex, because aside from the few people that go through the process to read our bio, a majority of viewers may be confused as to why we have slow releases. In addition, our group is by the people, for the people, and we want fellow fans to know that if we don't get to a comic that they really want to see, we welcome requests (albeit, we're still slow in doing that...) Now for the watermarks. The watermarks exist on every post because we're aware that deresute is heavily a social media-based community, as much as we wouldn't like for others to repost our works, it's important to everyone within our team that we get credit in such a case. It would be extremely easy for, say, an instagram account to just download the chapter and post it on their own account with no credit to us because the chapters are formatted to be one page long. Of course, I completely understand as a long-time reader of manga that watermarks are ugly and annoying, so I've been trying to place the watermarks in places that aren't too high-action. Basically, in panels that are, well, boring, for lack of a better word. One last thing that helps us justify the use of watermarks is the accessibility of the raws. It can be frustrating to want to take a picture of a specific face a character is making, but being unable to without also taking a photo of the watermark. With the raws being free to anyone who has the app, as well as uploaded at various places online, one can just reference the raws to avoid photos of our watermark.

I hope this makes sense and isn't *too* rambling. I really appreciate the feedback and will try to further improve in my placement of watermarks. Aside from that, I can bring it up with my fellow members and see about putting the info page after the comic page if that would help, but I can't promise anything.
