I was just about to say "Russ should stick around, he seems cool" and now I realise that Russ was part of the angry mob that killed our hero's friends. Out of the hero group he's the one who DOESN'T boast about specifically killing one of Laffen's friends, so maybe he'll be redeemable? It would be cool if he became an ally.
