This was pretty good, though to me not nearly as good as Kaitani's other works, but even then it had it's moments and Mizuki and Junpei reminded me a bit of Yugi and Joey from Yugioh. I thought the mahjong matches should've been more fleshed out like is the case on Fukumoto's manga (Akagi, Ten, sometimes in Kaiji) and overall the storyline was solid, but didn't nail in the emotional scenes as well as it should have. I'd say this is a solid 8/10, and it could've been better.
