by what i can read, MC doesn't know how to read a person/room, there where lots of hints Mr flame king being a douche-bag.

You can stand out and use all the benefits to your advantage.

Nerds are really fascinated by the "don't stand out" method and look at what this thinking has brought them in real life! In this world, the winners are the people who stand out and can control every aspect around them. Yet nerds keep promoting the idea that "it's better not to be noticed" because this is what Marvel Heroes taught us when we were kids... Pffffffffft.

I personally hate writings where the MC chooses not to stand out but eventually gets recognized by many for the sake of the plot, wasting our time.
